Wanna bet?

Nah, I’ve been rooting for both and just want to see everyone get along without breaking the protocol.

I was gonna have the bet be peace vs war 💜

But true, about time really 🫂

We’re too early for war. I honestly expected people to be best pals at this stage, sharing code, having sleepovers .. ya know the usual. Certainly not this.

Overnight codathons with pizza and Mtn Dew. 🥰

Oh absolutely, this should be the buddy-buddy stage… Hope people’s differences in opinion and egos won’t get in the way of this protocols chance to flourish 💜

You have the patience of an oyster. I keep having to walk away.

It’s what we need really 💜 Early forks etc are gonna burn this place down sooner than you think 🤷‍♂️

I mean, these only like one awesome android client and we need like … 10. Way too early to wage war!

💯

Plebstr is fixing to offer the first real native client competition. It's what I use full time now. Snort on web.

I wish I was better at this form of conflict management. I certainly regard it as my failing, not anyone else's. I came to a realization about this recently.

🍿

now?

I don’t plan on interacting with him on nostr, too much drama. Sticking to the nips repo for that.

We’re not used to developer battles 😂

I realize that now and am trying to improve lol

When you’re passionate about something, it’s hard not to defend it.

oh really? But the process is much more fun here.

Oh maybe git is better because people think more before post on git and response slower.

But these are so fun

was killing the vibe

🫂 & 💜

It is good that you are keeping that in mind. I started having to feel that there are so much bad feelings around NIP-9X; good moving that out from nostr to keep it more welcoming for newcomers 💜

I don’t think this is abt specific devs per se but the outcome in ensuring users across Nostr are not sidelined - also in the long run, what can be done to preserve decentralisation while ensuring anyone is able to innovate

Developers are always right👌🏻
