Subnostr

Depressing to see so many Lightning wallets unavailable in the US. Speed Wallet seems to work with Amethyst but doesn't tie in so well with other Nostr apps. Was hoping to try Alby but having a hard time finding a custodial wallet to link it with. Any Americans got recommendations here? Aside from self custody -- thats an eventuality but just looking for quick and dirty at the moment as I feel out the ecosystem. #wallet #lightning #alby

Yea it sucks since our government made enforcing kyc regulations law a lot of wallets became unavaliable because they did nokyc. Idk what to use now.

I'm deeply considering setting up Umbrel but it's a non-trivial cost at the moment. Gotta learn more about how backing up wallets works; maybe I'll just set up a node on my Slackware desktop.

Speed wallet is working as I did get 30 sats but it feels less functional than things like Alby appear to be.
