I have been using vanilla firefox, on live linux installations a little bit lately and it's absolutely astounding how bad the web is without an adblocker.

Normies must have ridiculously good and stubborn mental focus if they can read a technical article while dancing kitties and cringe tech ad animations go on around the body of the article.

Probably not a wonder that there is "reader modes" in so many browsers now. Don't tell Google that they are effectively ad blockers though or they might take it out of chrome.
