then notice following count -50%

restored from profile backup. Back to 100% again now. new users can certainly be lost - x fb inst such stuff not happens bc centralized directory. #nostr #tip

When I’m switching between clients , often testing new client releases , in and out of those apps with browser extensions and such , this happens a lot to me .. my follow list does the same . The back up and restore sounds smart though.

bc either serverside (many user self-hosted or multiple ones) or client side settings are changed or reloaded or erased or corrupted or reset

I created a tester npub but it was early on and I totally got things mixed up so I decided I wasn’t smart enough to finagle that , lol.. I was to afraid of messing up my main account so I ditched that idea.
