People say that you don't fail until you give up. The only problem is that you can't exactly keep working on your goals after you are dead. Even the most extreme and motivated person is guarunteed to "give up" eventually.
I say the goal should be to stay ahead of the curve. Instead of giving up when you are dead, give up in a year. Instead of giving up in a year, why not give up in a week? Instead of giving up in a week, why not just give up on your goal and do something else entirely before even starting it in the first place? Now that's efficiency!
