I can't imagine they'd be returning so often if the firefighters weren't solid too.

Will give it a listen. ๐Ÿค™

I just finished the pod gents.

What a ripper! Entertaing, intellectually honest & funny AF. I felt a little triggered at times & wanted to sling counter arguments back. I can only imagine what it was like for you guys to have that ability & still restrain your inner autist.

The major threat that I think is worth hedging against or at least gaming out is the threat of prolonged price suppression. I think it's occurring to a degree now & could get worse or persist for longer than we expect. We all gotta eat & I only have so much beef in my freezer.

Ultimately I trust in the human desire for self preservation & greed. The alignment of so many incentives is Bitcoin's greatest achievement. It's what gives me so much hope & it's so rarely perfected (never?) in human engineered systems.

My red flags for Bitcoin (I stole this from the slightly less autistic Dunworth) are:

- no more than 21 million bitcoin

- the next block will be added to the time chain

If those 2 conditions are likely to be met, I have confidence in Bitcoin's survival.

I'm also in favour of Bitcoin's ossification beyond any necessary forks (the Unix date bug is a known example).

Much respect & love to you all. Thank you ๐Ÿงก๐Ÿค™
