No. Larger block size will lead to greater demand to stuff it with garbage.

I totally agree. And I’m in that camp.

But then clearly the fear is not centralization. So let’s just put that argument aside. If we keep using it, it’s very easy to dismantle.

It could very well lead to centralization. If you keep letting more garbage in and justifying the ever expanding block size. In theory.
