The accusation of being "white adjacent" is built upon the idea that white people are the protagonist and everyone else is a supporting character or an opponent.
They've simply switched the Eurocentric view that "White people are the heroes." into another that "White people are the antiheroes."
This viewpoint will make it impossible to understand anything about the world, going forward.
It is myopic and it assumes that all allegiance or alliance is based solely upon race.
It's not an idea. It's a fact!
I think most people think it's a fact, yes.
It is the universal world view.
White people are what we all compare and contrast ourselves with. They are the quintessential human that we use to measure all other humans.
Everything revolves around them, good or bad.
If you are rich, you are rich... in comparison to rich white people.
If you are smart, you are smart... in comparison to smart white people.
If you are beautiful, you are beautiful... in comparison to beautiful white women.
If you are wicked, you are wicked... in comparison to wicked white men.
