A while back I paid over $200 to organize all my Bitcoin buys and sells into a spreadsheet. Then I went into an H&R Block and gave the old boomer a flash drive to get the files. He asked the front desk assistant how to open the excel spreadsheets. All he needed to do was import them into his accounting software 🤦‍♂️

Add all your transactions and it will automatically calculate your cost basis and cap gains for you.

How much for an import file to turbo tax?

We don’t have the option to create a file for TurboTax but the capital gains export (free while we are in beta) should be all you need- provided TurboTax has option to just punch in a cap gains number?

We have been asked for an export for quickbooks- but never for TurboTax. I’ll look into it.

Most users (we assume) just export the cap gains report and hand it to their accountant.
