Trump throwing shitcoins into the strategic reserve mix mainly is designed to take competing cryptos and CBDCs in other countries off of the table. If the US is leader in "crypto" then BRICS or whomever can scaresely use shitcoins to compete with the US dollar and USD stablecoins. This looks like a smart move to me, even if we think it's immoral to give false hope to shitcoiners.
