One of the reasons Christianity won and led to creation of the modern world was breaking out of cyclic thinking. For the first time humanity dared to think that we could improve from one age to another.

To declare "time is a circle" is to go back on 2000 years of philosophical progress. Ironically turning back the clock.

I have no idea what you are talking about. The fact that humans tend to do make similar mistakes as their ancestors does not make time circular. It just means our responses are under damped.

You’re right. Time isn’t circular. The statement wasn’t refuting your post. Socioeconomic trends are cyclical.
