I was down there and it was flipping cold. We parked at the Arboretum several miles from downtown to avoid license plate cameras and checkpoints, took an Uber to the Natural History Museum and hiked the rest of the way to the parliament grounds from there. After the SHTF, we ended up out at a camp west of town in Arnprior with about a hundred others who had been down for the week before the baton squad started in. It was really shitty weather but many of us had brought firewood so there were a number of bonfires going and a large event tent with frost fighter heaters blowing in. Never been prouder than meeting some of the people I met there from across the country that had driven for days to show up.

It was insanely cold. I was also there.

Never been so proud to be Canadian 🇨🇦🫡

Yeah, first time in my life I was proud to be. I could t believe how many guys and girls we met from our home province of Alberta. A month earlier we were in Coutts and it was the same awesome atmosphere. If I ever attend something like Ottawa again I’ll be bringing a couple thousand water balloons, green garbage cans, a filler, a three man catapult, and 5 gallons of black oil based paint mixed with vegetable oil lol. Fuckers.
