Thanks for video. That's a great intro to how to use that ecash wallet.
Curious to what are the pros and cons of ecash?
Just taking a guess:
Pro... Simple low/no fee sat transactions like lightning without worries about channel balancing issues.
Con... Requires some additional trust in the group? In beta, perhaps exploitable or bugs?
Sounds like you got it. It provides a good opportunity to do private transactions. Short of mining, non KYC bitcoin is hard to come by. This may help.

Yes! I also like that we can put the value of #Bitcoin into the hands of people who may not have the ways and means to custody Bitcoin or lightning. Use cases are very exciting. #cashu
The biggest issue is trusting the mint. The amazing devs are working through the process of making hay makes a trusted mint. It will only get better over time. While in Beta, only use small amounts and try to let the mints know what is going on if you do have problems. PV.
