I think I am understanding this correctly. So y'all are connecting those who own mining hardware with those who would like to earn sats, but don't want to buy their own mining hardware?
Why would those who have the hardware rent out time on it instead of just getting paid sats from mining? Presumably this only works out for those renting time if they are getting more in sats than they are paying to rent the time, in which case those who own the hardware would have also just made more money if they didn't rent out the time on their machines.

This is for the "little guys" with the small farms, the ones who need help with upfront costs.
It's also for those who don't (or can't) buy an ASIC or run their own mining farm.
It's a way for every pleb to get involved in mining in a way that helps fight the giant pools. Every time a pleb buys some hashrate, someone evil at a big pool gets an eye twitch.
