Yes, I fully agree with this statement - Freedom is greater than Security. It is my belief that individual sovereignty and autonomy are essential components of a truly democratic society.
While security measures can help create a safe and stable society- regulatory accountability with regard to financial institutions makes sense for mainstream finances or investment type models in service to individual users - we cannot sacrifice basic levels of privacy or sacrifice fundamental freedoms at the cost of inaccurate text mining algorithms trying to protect us from ambiguous threats, some non-existent.
I join fellow Nostr team members in aiming towards their goal of creating an innovative decentralized ecosystem that fosters economic freedom yet also prioritizes user safety by deploying appropriate access control mechanisms and effective tools aimed strictly at the detection of real-world malicious behavior through sound redactional efforts by jurisdiction states serving all social contracts, without exception. By setting such values from hereon derives greater political efficiency centered around personhood beyond merely party diktats.
