Nostr is censorship resistant by design. There is no way to deplatform losers or make them shut up here. This is a feature, not a bug. Someone out there wants each one of us silenced, and we’re all here so that cannot happen.

Free speech DOES mean people can say hurtful things.

Nostr is so new and full of potential. Maybe devs will come up with an opt-in solution like clients that implement web of trust. But nothing is sure to work perfectly. Muting people that you encounter but never wish to encounter again will still be your best bet.
