Fun thought experiment. My bias is towards land to run custom grazing or sell buy marketing strategies to run cattle with the balance invested in Bitcoin.
Additionally, no investment will ever outperform gardening and growing your own food (this is actually a mathematically factual statement with returns potentially exceeding 1,000% in a gardening season).

I don't currently, but built out a plan in case bitcoiners are interested in that, which they are, but I haven't pursued the opportunity for reasons right now.
Custom grazing specifically or more like heresy area like Joel does? I was custom grazing 90+ sheep for over a year, it was great, but the person I was doing it for after about 9 months kept asking me to do more and more work with out paying me so I ended the contract.
I personally don't like his herd share model. If I'm going to do it, which I might in the future, I'd assign people to a specific ear tag. They'd pay for the animal upfront no different than a farmer and then pay that animals share of inputs.

I think the main reason he does do that is because if it dies, he doesn't want the xustomer to be impacted, which is why the costs are higher than a setup without that feature.
