People would have figured it out. And electricity and computers and a whole lot of other things were missing so bitcoin is irrelevant. They had to be scrapped because it neutered the federal government, nothing else. What we have today would not have been possible. The Constitution allowed the centralization.

Exactly, the idea was alive, but the technology didn't exist to make their dream a reality
I still think they would have figured it out. Nations figure it out, and they were nothing more then small nations. The currency thing was just an excuse.
To put it another way, all the so-called problems with the Articles were in fact features with the sole purpose of stopping centralization of power.
