I went to dinner with a friend last night and of course she asked me about bitcoin. After I gave my spiel she said, “But Bitcoin is not money. Try paying for this meal with it and see what happens.”

Later she generously took the check and put her credit card down. Less than a minute later the waiter came back and said, “I’m so sorry, we don’t take American Express.”
