better to pick a wasteland that we know how to build up over generations (carbon, etc) islands are very unstable ground, better to choose elevated mountain plateaus imo, flood risk, tsunami, etc
Good point. I tend to like mountains more anyway BUT... most of the good ones are fairly well held.
