If you accept Christ, then you will be reborn in Christ.

If you are reborn in Christ, then you will study God's word and attempt to be sanctified by living in a way that is agreeable to God.

If you attempt to live in a way that is agreeable to God, then you will be estranged from the world.

If you are estranged from the world, then you will implement wisdom like this, which the world finds offensive.

Just like a woman can either enter wholly into the house of her husband, or maintain her connections and optionality in the world, so too can a man enter wholly into a life in Christ, or maintain his connections and optionality in the world.

Salvation is secured in the process of sanctification, which is total devotion to living in Christ's house.

God leads. Everybody serves.

Misanthropic scrutiny of the bubble of human affairs is a really valuable meditation for all IMO, and deep connection with the natural world, the wider world outside of human concerns, is a very healthy practice, too.

Estranged from society and civilization is not estranged from the world, as the world contains so much more than the superficial bubble of human affairs.

Humans are so fucking full of themselves, and you gotta factor them out at least some of the time to get a clearer view. That's just my dumb take though.

"The world" in this context refers to popular society.
