Absolutely, but you should also be free to denounce your past silly ideas and expect to be genuinely forgiven.

Tarring and feathering someone for something they posted 15 years ago, when today they instantly say “whoops what was I thinking” is just posturing and it’s divisive nonsense.

In this age of social media, we need to learn to forgive. People never had a scoreboard of wrong/right records whilst we evolved through the stages of life like we have with social media now.

We haven’t evolved to handle records of everyone’s misdoings on instant recall. We’re still applying old morals in a totally different paradigm.
