The bit about liquidity and potentially needing additional lightning nodes is where my understanding falls off. This is likely a general lack of understanding around lightning in general on my part.

I don’t mind the upfront sat requirement, although I want to understand why they’re needed before proceeding.

Yeah I get it. I didn’t understand it yesterday either.

I think you need the upfront req so that you have some sats you can send back and forth on L2 without touching L1.

But Evan at Zeus support was super helpful.

I also have some notes from yesterday where I asked for help. Nostr helped me a lot.

I would choose either one and take the leap. :)
