The organizer is there and I actually love Jackson Hole. Skied their alot in college. I kind of like the symbolism of it too w/ the whole Fed meeting there which may be unintentional.
That being said, nothing beats Utah powder and I heard it is epic, once in a lifetime conditions this year.
I have every intention of making it to one of those meet ups.
Absolutely! A few days ago we had the most snow in a 24 hour period since 1983. Everyone I talk to that are avid skiers/snowboarders says the conditions in Park City and surrounding resorts like Snow Bird, Alta, etc. is some of the best in the whole world right now. The Red, White & Snow event is in Park City this week so lots of people from all over are in town. https://redwhiteandsnow.org
Jackson Hole is great, especially in the spring and summer. Not knocking it at all and understand the event is there because the event organizer lives there. Just a super inconvenient place to have an event where people have to fly to from all over especially if there is any kind of travel delays which this region of the country has been having a lot of this year.
