If you have little money it's all automated. No person will help you solve a problem.

If you have more, the paperwork is endless. Kyc, aml, tax, id... and all needs to be updated frequently.

Neobanks at least try to have nice ux for the kyc surveillance hell.

It's very clearly an industry benefitting (and suffering) from huge barriers to entry in the form of hyperregulation. No competitive industry would treat users like this.
