They have to figure out the evilly politically correct thing to say about whatever. That takes time.
Why don't they check them for mental illness? There many more people with autism without gender dysphoria. The medical class is now desperate to suggest there's a medical reason for it so they can continue give these people a protected status. The are corrupt.
