Right? It’s very liberating. I self host all the things, and I wish people could understand or remember what it’s like to not be tethered to all of these services that are spying on you.

I am not very technical, but I've taken the time to get a good number of solutions set up. I can't say it didn't require some time investment. It is worth it, though! I think projects like @Start9 are great and continue to become easier for non-techy people to use.
