removing the config option for nodes to decide what txs they can accept is unacceptable. if you wanna fill your node with garbage, i have no issue with that, it's your decision. but you cannot dictate that i do the same on my own node.

That garbage you say you don't want on your node will reach you when the block is mined. You can't avoid it. If someone wants to include garbage, they'll do it in the OP_RETURN or in some other way, and it will be mined as long as it doesn't break the consensus rules."
