however, difficult answer, i guess.
you will need tocread the terms of service. all other 'short' answers wont be correct/enough. so dont trust but verify!

Has the United States government requested consumer bitcoin KYC data and if so, did you hand it over?
they have no obligation to tell you, and in fact, they can't. It's part of AML law.
