I feel nostr is a home for #monero heads too. Don't be put off my the focus of #bitcoin devs and lightning integration on this protocol/platform. The early days of bootstrapping nostr is open to all regardless of which digital money you believe in. Nostr belongs to noderunners in general.

Yep, while nostr is heavily linked to btc via zaps, if anything going forward govt censorship of monero discussion is much more likely and this is a censorship resistant platform.
It doesn't matter whether it's welcome or not, we'll talk about whatever we want and nobody can stop us.
there is still quite a bit of work to make nostr more censorship resistant as some content is going missing, ideally we get more local backup and p2p
