Well, HIV and AIDS is strongly associated with homosexual activity. I’m also guessing most of those diagnoses are men.
poor education
Poor education doesn’t cause you to engage in high risk homosexual behaviours.
I posted this earlier but I was nostred, but their rates are much higher for women too. In fact the increase in rates of AIDs when you are black is even higher for women then men.

I think that’s mostly because many black men are homosexuals, it’s part of “down low” culture in their communities. They still maintain heterosexual relationships for appearances, and maybe it all has to do with less sexual dimorphism.
Well the rates of other STDs are high in black women so I think promiscuity has something to do with it.
Not that I disagree with the point that more black men are gay/bi and that contributes a lot to it too.
Promiscuity is definitely part of it too, that’s why there are so many single black mothers. Like a huge proportion.
