Go back and watch some old movies even from the 70s and 80s.. it's ALWAYS been riots and a warzone. Hell, even comedies like Police Academy acknowledged that with a riot scene in LA toward the end of the movie.

It’s not a war zone, if it was they’d be killing the illegals.

No they wait for this. We should over smart them. LA riots must be the key to expose to the population who is funneling money and planning the riots. If you want to kill bad weed you need to take out the roots.
