Its intellectuel dishonesty in my opinion its a long winded way to say i dont trust myself with a private key.

Recently many podcasts preaching for third custodial parties without mentioning risks, and addressing risks to self custody, like you well said, all with intellectual dishonesty.

OnRamp is one of them, their ad is the perfect example of what I am talking about.

Splitting your keys in other jurisdiction doesn't help them to get supina by any govt. Same thing as the Ledger custody option with multisig hold by different entities in different states. Lol.
