Both vanilla and Honey are free to use for the time being.

Not sure why you had login in issues using vanilla. As soon as you try to join a room or open a room you will automatically be given the option to login ( or not as you can be anonymous if you like).

I’m having an electrical problem right now so my node is down and I’m not sure if I can figure out how to zap you until I can correct that electrical problem and get the node up and running again.

All good. Don’t worry about the zap.

The nostr login that hivetalk uses is created by nostr.band and they just recently stopped maintaining the project so I’m not surprised to see some login issues start popping up. We will keeps a close eye on it try to address what ever pops up.
