In just 12 hours since the release, I already learned more about Draft Events and their use in the wild than the past month developing and testing it 😅. Thanks everyone for your feedback! Much more to come.

Yeah - I'm not loving them.

I had no idea how many replies I think better of & just abandon them.

Where are these drafts stored? Are they local?

They are like private messages to yourself. Stored on relays like DMs but fully encrypted.

Yeah - I'd like to be able to turn them off.

I don't need an even greater footprint of my mind farts online, even if they're encrypted.

It creates a draft a lot of normal messages. Kinda annoying 🤷‍♂️

I'm playing with them right now.

As already said, useful!

Some random suggestions.

The thread view does not work very well with main notes, because after you click the item you find an identical one.

I would remove the referred note from the drafts preview, to make room for the user content; the text should be enough to understand the context and the thread is just one click away.

A long press to edit is too hidden, why not use the single tap? If it's somehow problematic in some areas I would add a full width button "Draft - Edit" at the bottom of the note. This also solves the problem that drafts are not highlighted when scrolling a thread.

Remove them, or store them locally

I tried it and sometimes it leaves the draft in the timeline next to a response, even after posting the response

Draft has no counter, doesn't like the reley (like x/y), what's the consideration behind that?

Counter? I am not sure I understood the question :(

A counter indicates the number of saved drafts :)

Interesting. So, do you want a counter for drafts? It's not impossible. I am just not sure if people want that.

Lol, I am just curious why there is not a counter implemented (yet), counter could apply a driving force to push you finish the incompleted/unpublished posts.

Interesting. Gotta figure out a nice way to do this.
