The Andromeda Strain (1971)

The first Michael Crichton story turned into a movie. Tense and slowly paced, it isn't Jurassic Park for sure, but is still an interesting watch. A good early 70's sci-fi film.

I think that was one of my favorite books by Crichton

I agree. When Jurassic Park came out as a movie I went on a tear and read all his works. This is among the best, and the film does a great job of representing that story. A good read, and a good watch.

Never saw this one, I saw the tv mini series when that came out… but honestly I can’t remember how that was

pretty sure i read all his books *B* 4 movies which usually r not as g'O';.;O'd but will revisit may *B* t *Y* Ryan/

"not as g'O;.;O'd" im'O'*****

This one sticks pretty close to the book. A great example of his writing style with group dynamics in a tense situation.

cool, i can't quite remember it so a gain t *Y* Ryan/i need to take a break 4 sum spacetime lol

Scared the eff outta my young self. I still think of my blood turning to powder.

It's a slow burn movie, but has great tension and scary concepts. I've watched it several times, it's one of my favorite old sci-fi movies.

Michael Crichton books are amazing

This movie was surprisingly good!
