I too second this. Also it applies to FB too.
I had accounts on Fb since 2009 and Twitter since 2018.
As a regular pleb, I don't get barely any interactions on anything I post on my own. Both of them give an unfair advantage to big names and make it very hard for us plebs to get Independent traction.
On Twitter you can randomly blow up occasionally, if you can curate your posts to comprise more or less of hot takes. Otherwise it's pretty much a roulette.
On FB, organic content outside of focus groups rarely gets any traction at all. Surprisingly enough. that also applies in part to the big names.
In about a month of using Nostr, I have double the amount of followers I ever had on Twitter. And even though I have spent 14 years fairly active on FB, I get more interactions here.
When I shout into the abyss, Nostr gives a regular pleb like me a much better chance of the abyss shouting back.
