Yes, I thankfully got one from OpenSats which will start in January

But it will just replace my unemployment benefits (that I got after leaving my first job and will last until then) which prevented me from starving but with my student loan I can’t and still won’t be able to afford to rent

Incredibly grateful but it’s really not enough and need to find additional ways to fund this project

First - beautiful and very responsive charts .. thanks for building them ..

As you rightly said - grants and zaps wont make ends meat .. that is a sad truth .. Fin Independence is kinda pre-req for the open-source (:-

Thanks a lot !

Learned that the hard way ! I honestly believed that I’d find a way to make ends meet much more easily when other companies like BlackRock charge up to 800$/month per user for similar things

that is called marketing :-) ... I did see your roadmap for the project . .. ( on Github ).. you goals are all about building more .. which is not bad but if you want to support the project yourself , I would suggest focus a bit on selling the ideas .. for example a podcast or a youtube explaining every chart .. in a simple format

- What people can get from the chart ..

- what was your motivation to build

- why a company might want to embed a specific chart in their user facing portal - and how

If you build sales content , than nostriches can spread the word ... network effect ..

my 2 :-) .. I am sure with your skills you wont have dearth of jobs ..

Thanks a lot for the suggestions !

The reason I haven't done any of that yet is first of all because it's really not my forte, but also because there are great people already doing an incredible job like nostr:npub1qh5sal68c8swet6ut0w5evjmj6vnw29x3k967h7atn45unzjyeyq6ceh9r and thus I honestly wouldn't bring anything on the table.

Whereas, while the idea of the project isn't unique, it's the first that is open source and self-hostable, the first to have datasets by block height, has a LOT of datasets which are all free with much more coming, an no-auth and free without restrictions API and a snappy web app, with a lot of features coming. From my perspective, it brought a lot of value to the Bitcoin community

But yes, if I can't find any sponsors soon, I'll definitely need to figure something out
