This one time I walking on the beach and I dropped a scarf. I got maybe 30 yards away before realizing it. Before I could walk back and get it a gust of wind blew it right back to my feet where I picked it up and continued on my way.
It was a wind win situation.
If it had instead blown away from you, it would be a "wind wins" situation.
