This may be a big counter-culture here, but I am becoming a bit nationalistic (US) in the face of what I see as the the greater threats to human rights that are China and Russia.

Yes, the western world has its rolling dumpster fire (as it always has), but it is self-correcting in it's lurching messiness and over time fosters a better world.

I believe the western world has learned some hard lessons. It may be hard to see now but wokism peaked imo. There have been hard lessons learned amidst the collective limbic conciousness, upon which creative destruction and renewal will correct in the coming decade or two.

A lot of pain and struggle is yet to come, nonetheless.
