What can I say, people like hellthreads as much as they love badges ππ
you canβt compare the two π€£ one has a NIP & the other annoys people intentionally loll
This is how you build and grow nostr, try and break it to rebuild it π
And yeah I agree badges annoy people πππ
I donβt agree with anything said here so Iβll just go about my day π€£π€£ 
Iβll never let you forget or forgive you for that merry go round of having to authenticate in order for you to get that badge last year ππππ

Oh that wasnβt for a badge, I later found out Iβd get a badge for it. But at the moment the only promise was to be Not a Bot lol
I jumped on every single new thing that came out at that time n tested it all out lol I was very very excited about the space back then, now Iβm more cautious and only get excited when itβs something I can use every day to enhance my experience..

idk if you remember but the idea was nice, it was supposed to be a relay without spam or bots (we were heavily attacked by bots back then)
Only people that you authenticated as being real humans had access to the relay
nostr:npub180cvv07tjdrrgpa0j7j7tmnyl2yr6yr7l8j4s3evf6u64th6gkwsyjh6w6 created something similar with the pyramid relay, so I guess it really wasnβt a bad idea. Just the dude that was building never executed it.
