The materials used to make headphone cups these days are fucking terrible. Really kicking myself in the ass over that time a friend of mine was moving and getting rid of a bunch of Senheiser and Sony headphones from the 80s and shit and I didn't snatch up a few pairs. The passive noise canceling on those fuckers was spectacular compared to most models today, at least the ones I can actually justify spending the money on.
