In a podcast I was looking for but looks like it might have been taken down (I'll continue to look and will post in reply if I can find it) by Stephan Livera, a woman from Afghanistan explains for the first time in history women in the middle east can leave a country with much less awareness/control by authorities and pay for safe transport without the government stopping or stealing their money.

I believe this will become more common around the world as bitcoin develops and freedom grows. Hard to know an estimated time of arrival for it.
Bitcoin defunds authoritarians worldwide. It sounds like a fantasy but after much study I believe this wholeheartedly. There is a lot of good information out there on this, books and podcasts that discuss it in detail. Happy to share more resources but youtube searches can lead to google bitcoin podcasts on these topics.
