Now that they’re out of power (in the US), I wonder if it misinformation experts:
(a) realize the value of free expression and the dangers of censorship,
or
(b) continue to push for aggressive censorship, but assuming they’ll seize power again soon.
I’m thinking it’s (b).
They're not out of power, it's just that different ones are in power now. Most Dems and Republicans are just two sides of the same deeply corrupted and authoritarian coin. The Trump/Musk/Project2025 coalition is an extreme form and in their first two weeks in power have proven to be the most heavily censoring government already
Imo, your best hope now is to fix things at State level
