i've though about trying to solo mine with my S9's but that's a really expensive experiment that would cost hundreds of dollars a month in electricity.

Lol exactly 😂 I don’t even mine with a pool right now because it’s cheaper to just buy sats. One cool thing with Braiins is you can split your machine’s hash rate between different pools. If it ever becomes affordable to run mine again I may do that.
