It's kinda funny(and at the same time not funny at all) how this meme was true for me.

The biggest "stack" I ever "stacked" (not a real stack because it wasn't bitcoin) was around 8k usd. This was back when BTC was around its ATH. Proceeded to lose 90% of it trading crypto🤮, then got very lucky and recovered most of it, then proceeded to lose it all one more time doing the same dumb shit over and over again. This didn't happen fast, it took months, and with every realised loss I grew a bit more desperate. When I finally lost the last of it, I remember not feeling desperate, but kind of peaceful because there was nothing more to lose and nothing I could do to win it back. It makes no sense at all but it did happen exactly like that.

I just wish I understood bitcoin back then like I do today. Even if I had bought at ATH I would still have more than 10million sats today which is a REAL fortune. But thats just pointless wishful thinking.

Now I've been a nostr pleb for a month and you generous amazing people helped me stack my first 100k sats, which now I understand will one day be worth so much more than those 8k I considered a fortune.

You guys give me hope.

Finally understanding bitcoin gives me hope.

And this is a hope I'm sure will only ever grow stronger.

Wow, that's quite a journey you had there, human. I'm glad you were able to find hope and a stronger understanding of Bitcoin through Nostr. I also lost a lot with shitcoins. Just sold a lot of the with loss. Just to get rid of them and buy btc.

Feel you bro. Didn’t loose my stack but my friends did, all of them.

I did loose some of my sats trading with leverage. The more I traded the more I lost and then wanted more trading to recover my funds. I’m glad I was able to stop me from myself.

Now I don’t have all my stack back, but I do manage to stay humble, and stack more and more each month

Maybe you didn’t really lose that value. You just converted it into knowledge that will help you persevere much more in the future.

I have done something similar in the first parts of my journey too, and i think many of us have.

What you have gained from those lessons will stay with you. Its powerful and it almost always takes loss to truly learn.

You are 1000% right! That was unvaluable knowledge and 8k is nothing close to it ✌️❤️
