My wife is a principal of a school with a large deaf population and is having a hard time finding interpreters.
I think AI genprated ASL interpreter videos could solve this in the future.
Disability inclusion at its finest. This interpreter is deaf, and she’s in frame, interpreting the press briefing into ASL.
Typically US news stations don’t keep an interpreter in frame/this close to the podium. In this instance, it took 4 deaf Americans being murdered (and likely follow up from our nations deaf leaders) to ensure ASL is in frame. It’s challenging that that’s the reality.
