In better news, Dog’s scab/proud skin tag under his claw came off today, and the claw is fully grown in on one side and half (healthily) grown in on the other.

It’s possible that if I can just keep on top of putting cream on (and keeping tongue off) the rubbed patch for another week or two then this might, finally, be over.

Dilemma: keep using boot to protect claw a bit longer, or stop using boot to help rubbed patch improve? I think he can’t get his mouth on the rubbed patch when wearing the current iteration of the Defensive System, but I worry that in trying he will scrape it with the edge of his cone(s).
