Sometimes I will go shopping and get a hit of dopamine for every product I don't buy. I'm like a woman on Tinder swiping left every time because I've decided that "I deserve better."

I deserve a better DEAL that is. I take similar glee in every piece of software, or technololgy I refuse to associate with, with the fact that I refuse any sort of debt, with the fact that I avoid stock speculation or any other kind of gambling, and with every drug I don't take.

I wonder if gamblers couldn't benefit from this viewpoint. I've never been a gambler though, so who knows.
