Reason #624362 why everything will end up on nostr: online life in the "AI" age will be all about the filters you use - and the open source filters we will get on nostr are going to beat closed filters hands-down.

Seems to me nostr is awash with bots and "AI" (actually just human-simulation software, imo the word "intelligence" is just part of the psy-op!). I sort of filter informally, sort of don't really care what the difference is as long as it's content I like..

But this is clearly the future: we will live in an online sea of fakery; and the only solution is going to be "filters" in a general sense.

The filter you use will entirely determine your online experience.

Every closed social network will be doing this, now and for the future - but of course they will be doing it for their ends (and those of intelligence agencies etc) not yours.

Meanwhile for it to be at all useable nostr will likely soon be all about the open-source filters available to give users the online experience they actually want. They will inevitably be far superior to any closed alternative, not just because they will actually be working for the user, but because the open-source collaborative effort is bound to make far better software.
